Though I initially found myself indecisive between this one and similar titles, it soon became clear I picked the right one as I was deeply immersed into its narrative.The book describes how to correctly build an organised structure of systems thinking whilst exploring physics and the universe.
I was always intimidated by the term 'Systems Thinking' and never came close to attempting to get my head around it. This book exposes the term eloquently and makes it totally accessible. Using the Tao Te Ching as a cross reference, the author synthesizes Eastern and Western approaches and providing another perspective on what I term as 'Deep Ecology', incorporating elements of psychology, environment and ecology,politics, culture and more. For the western analytical thinker this is a nice introduction to Taoist principles.Systems Thinking is something we are constantly surrounded by, and influenced by, both externally and internally. A book that should raise any reader's awareness at least a notch or so.
A meeting of the old,revered perceptions of eastern thinking, Lao Tsu s observations of how all nature works and the new systems dynamics created through the new western computer age. Together they can find function and provable systems of logic, but much more importantly, they may lead to wise thinking, in consideration of our human plight upon this beloved planet. Good thinking must dictate our collective actions. Filled with both humble and the clearest of thinking.
I highly recommend this book, it has amazing insight for anyone who wishes to improve their self-awareness and live a happier, more meaningful life. It boldly addresses the harsh reality of all the problems with the world and humanity, bringing clarity to these complex issues, yet it is very easy to read and comprehend.
I found this book absolutely interesting as a dear friend of mine suggested to me. I am glad that I got this book as it has enlightened my day to day.Absolutely recommended!!!!I wish they had more stars to rate it!
