Good book and obviously honest account of Canada's participation in WW2. Frustrating that it took so long for the Allies to get their act together in consolidating the participation of countries eager and willing to help fight the Nazi juggernaut. Very disappointing accounts of the infiltration by the Germans into early intelligence efforts of Allied countries. Most Canadian agents, after training and preparing to go into occupied Europe, parachuted right into the waiting arms of German counterintelligence. Sobering account of the failure of early Allied intelligence leadership.
